Overdue December Birchbox 2014

Very underwhelmed by December’s box.

1) Manna Kadar Lip Locked gloss stain in Lucky - Never heard of this brand but the sample packaging looks pretty cheap so we’ll see how this goes. Full size is 1.2oz & $24 This sample is 0.01oz Birchbox Value: $0.20 (lol told you the packaging looked cheap)

2) Royal Apothic Cuppa Cuppa Firming Tea Treatment Mask - I love masks so I’m looking forward to trying this one out. Full size comes with 6 tubes at .33oz each & is $58 This sample is 1 whole .33oz tube Birchbox Value: $9.67 (basically pays for the box)

3) RUSK Texture Spray - I thought this was just some sort of hairspray but it says you can spray your roots too, so I’m curious to see what that does. Full size is 8oz & $18 This sample is 1.5oz Birchbox Value: $3.38

4) Sumita Color Contrast eyeliner in Jaipur Gold- I think this is the third time I’ve gotten this eyeliner. Luckily they’ve been a different color each time. Full size is 1.6g & $11 This sample is .7g Birchbox Value: $4.81

5) Yu-Be Moisturizing Skin Cream - I’ve always wanted to try this. It’s supposed to be a do it all moisturizer. You can use it everywhere, even on your lips and feet. Hopefully it lives up to the hype. Full size is 1.25oz & $16 This sample is .10oz Birchbox Value: $1.28

Total Birchbox Value: $19.34 (might be the cheapest box I’ve ever gotten)

Overdue November Empties 2014

1) Victoria’s Secret So Sexy Hair Gel - I actually found this under my sink and it’s still half full but this thing is probably 10 years old lol I haven’t used this in years so gotta throw this out!

2) Suave Kids detangler - Another bottle to add to the list! Still got 2 back ups

3) Shu Uemura Lavender Mist - This was a really good toner! I wish this brand was more easily available though.

4) MAC Pro Eye Makeup Remover - Loved this! It worked really well. It stung my eyes a little though.

5) Bath & Body Works Body Cream in Forever Red - Absolutely love this scent! I wish it was the same price as all the other scents but I’ll still pay it lol

6) Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser - This made my skin tingle which I actually really like. Don’t use this on your eyes though! I would repurchase this.

7) LUSH Rose Jam shower gel - I will forever repurchase this and I already had a back up.

8) Bath & Body Works candle in Buttercream Mint - I bought this candle on sale for like $8 and it reminded me of the candle they used to carry called Marshmallow Peppermint. It smells like minty candy.

9) Glamglow Youthmud - LOVED this! I will definitely be repurchasing this. One of the best masks I’ve ever used.

10) Skin & Co Roma Sicilian Body Gel - Got this in a Birchbox and it had a nice citrus scent but the cap broke on me right away so I wouldn’t purchase this.

11) Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy in Sleep - Loved this scent. They don’t carry this one anymore (night time tea) but if they brought it back I would definitely stock up just in case! lol

12) Aveda Hand Relief - I’m always using hand creams and this one has always been good to me. I’ve never had to purchase it since they girls at Aveda are so nice and always give me a travel size whenever I go in there

13) NARS powder foundation in Barcelona - Loved this powder! I would definitely repurchase in the future.

14) LUSH The Kiss - This was a really pearly lipstick shade, which I wasn’t crazy about, but it was very moisturizing. I wouldn’t repurchase though. I would stick to their non colored lip balms

15) Tarte Lights Camera Lashes - went through one of these last month and I will definitely repurchase

16) Tarte concealer - This was very full coverage and perfect for my dark circles. I would definitely repurchase once I finish a bunch of the opened concealers I have right now

17) LUSH Sikkim Girls lotion - This kinda smelled like old lady

18) LUSH Celebrate lotion - This was very citrusy

19) OPI Absolutely Alice - This was one of my first OPI nail polishes and I remember buying it at Disneyland (it was part of the Alice in Wonderland collection). It was a gorgeous blue glitter. I’m sad to see it go.

20) OPI Gift of Gold - I remember getting this as free gift from Ulta, also one of my first OPI nail polishes. It was an amazing gold glitter

Overdue November Favorites 2014

1) Organix Biotin & Collagen shampoo - I love this brand so I wanted to try something new and I loved this! It really cleansed my hair & smelled amazing.

2) Organix Coconut Milk conditioner - I wanted to get the Biotin & Collagen conditioner to go with the shampoo but they didn’t have any! So I bought this because I already knew I loved it.

3) Suave Kids detangler - Can’t tell you how many of these I’ve gone through. I’ll always love this for my long knotty hair.

4) Salon Grafix Spray Powder Shampoo in Brunette - This was really good but I still prefer my Batiste but I bought this because it was on sale. I would still repurchase this.

5) Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy lotion in Sleep - This stuff actually works!

6) LUSH Let The Good Times Roll cleanser - I loved the way this smelled. It was so sweet and it also made my skin feel really nice

7) LUSH British Nanny moisturizer - Bought this in England since I’ve never seen this one in the states. It is by far the thickest moisturizer I’ve ever tried but it doesn’t make me break out. It is super greasy so I use it at night and my skin is super soft in the morning.

8) Soap & Glory Hand Food - Absolutely love this hand cream! I’ve gone through a full size before.

9) L’Oreal Clean Artiste eye makeup remover - This works really well and it doesn’t sting your eyes at all

10) Too Faced Sweethearts Blush in Something About Berry - I love everything about this blush. The packaging, the color, everything!

6) Bonus: Firecracker ChocoPod - I love these chocolates! I’ve actually purchased a lot of them since sampling them in one of my very first Birchboxes. These come in an 8 piece sampler set & is $9.95 Birchbox Value: $1.24

Overdue October Empties 2014

1) LUSH Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner - Love this stuff. I’ve gone through so many pots.

2) LUSH Big Shampoo - Another favorite Lush product. I think I might do a Top 10 Favorite Lush Products since I love so many things from there. This shampoo really gives me volume.

3) Bath & Body Works candle in Cider Lane - So sad they didn’t bring this one back but thankfully I had 2 back ups for fall. But now I’m sad I don’t have anymore

4) Bath & Body Works candle in Cinnamon Buns - This was a favorite this month and I would definitely repurchase this again.

5) Aussie 3-minute Miracle Conditioner - Love this as well! It’s so cheap and makes my hair feel amazing!

6) CLEAR shampoo & conditioner - I did a lot of travelling in October and held onto 4 empty travel sized bottles. Love this brand

7) Bath & Body Works wallflower in Pumpkin Cupcake - Love this scent for fall!

8) Batiste dry shampoo in Original - finished this travel sized bottle while travelling. Not my fave scent but still works amazingly.

9) Batiste dry shampoo in Blush - love this scent!

10) Bobbi Brown hydrating eye cream - this is like $55 but it works really well and lasts a long time. I would probably repurchase this.

11) Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Enchanted - Really liked this scent but I prefer the original.

12) Lavanilla deodorant in Pure Vanilla - I would like to wear more natural deodorant but they just don’t do the job. This is nice if you know you’re not gonna sweat. Do not wear it to the gym! lol

13) LUSH Snow Fairy shower gel - loves it! I purchase it every year

14) OPI Black Onyx - Basic black nail polish. Was opaque after 2 coats.

15) Josie Maran Bear Naked nail wipes - These were alright. It takes like 4 wipes to do both hands but it does make my cuticles feel extra moisturized.

16) Lancome Hypnose mascara - This is a mascara I always go back too. It makes my lashes look so full.

17) Tarte for True Blood Lights Camera Lashes mascara - Found this & I had never opened it and got like 3 uses out of it lol love this mascara though. I’ve gone through the full size in the past

18) Dior Extase mascara - This is one of those mascaras that isn’t good at first but after a few uses it’s amazing!

19) Tarte for True Blood Eyeliner - This was a small travel size and I got like 5 uses out of it. I didn’t like it because it smudged like crazy.

20) Hourglass primer - This is my all time favorite primer. I’ve gone through a lot of these sample sizes and I would definitely purchase the big jumbo size.

21) Chapstick - Can’t go wrong with chapstick. Got this in a Birchbox lol

22) The Body Shop Guarana lip butter - This was terrible. It actually dried out my lips. There’s still about half left but I can’t do it

23) LUSH Honey Trap - Love this lip balm though!

24) Too Faced Natural Eye palette - can’t believe I finished a whole palette!! This took me forever though. Notice the old beat up packaging lol

25) Up & Up Cleansing Towelettes - Love these and they’re super cheap from Target!

26) YSL eye make up remover - Amazing stuff but probably too pricey for me. Glad I got a sample though!

27) REN Radiance Renewal Mask - I got one use from this sample size and it made my skin feel extra clean! I have 2 more of these but I would definitely purchase the full size.

28) LUSH African Paradise - This is a body conditioner like Ro’s Argan and it worked as well but I definitely prefer the Ro’s Argan scent.

29) First Aid Beauty facial cleanser - Absolutely love this!! I have 2 more of these as well and I will definitely be purchasing the full size once I use those up.

Overdue October Favorites 2014

I’m literally half a year behind but I don’t care….I’m still going to try & catch up…because I have OCD lol

1) Zoya Remove+: Love this nail polish remover!.....so much I got the jumbo size! lol

2) Batiste Dry Shampoo in Brunette: I’ve named this my holy grail dry shampoo. Doesn’t leave my hair grey and it gives me so much volume!

3) Philosophy Purity: I’ve gone through so many of these. It just works so well at removing make up. I especially love using it with my Clarisonic.

4) Wild Oats Organic Coconut Oil: I love using coconut oil for everything, especially as a hair mask. I love that this is such a large jar from Fresh & Easy.

5) Bath & Body Works candle in Cinnamon Buns: This smells just like cinnamon buns. It’s so delicious!

6) LUSH Ro’s Argan Body Conditioner: This is one of my favorite LUSH products. It makes my skin feel silky smooth and smells amazing!

7) Elizabeth & James perfume in Black: Even though I love the White one too, Black is definitely my favorite out of the two. It’s musky which is right up my alley.

8) L’Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes: This really does give my lashes lots of volume! Drugstore mascaras are awesome and this one’s definitely at the top!

9) Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer: I went to Europe at the end of Sept/beginning of Oct and definitely had to pick this up. It’s an amazing bronzer and smells just like chocolate.

10) MAC Eye Make Up Remover: Bought this because when I went to the One Direction concerts in Pasadena I totally forgot to pack my Smolder eye liner and my eye make up remover. Ran to MAC to get both and this ending up working really well!

1) Atelier Cologne Blanche Immortelle Cologne Absolue - This has mandarin, jasmine, and sandalwood. I think I would like it more if it didn’t have mandarin, but I love jasmine and sandalwood. 2) Camille Beckman Tuscan Honey Glycerine Hand Therapy - This is the cutest packaging, I love the little rose on top. Full size is 6oz & $13.95 This sample is 0.25oz Birchbox Value: $0.58

3) Lord & Berry Paillettes Glitter Eye Pencil in Black - I feel like we could have gotten a full size of this since usually receive full size liners but oh well. This looks pretty, it has silver glitter. Full size is 0.04oz & $18 This sample is 0.01oz Birchbox Value: $4.50

4) Shiseido Ultimate Power Infusing Concentrate - I love Shiseido so I’m excited to try this and I’m all about the anti-aging skin care these days. Full size is 30ml & $65 This sample is 10ml Birchbox Value: $21.67

5) Toni & Guy Classic Shine Gloss Serum - I look forward to trying this out since my hair could use some shine. This is a full size at 1oz Birchbox Value: $15
